SMRT Corporation
SMRT Corporation is one of Singapore's transportation service providers. It operates 3/4 of Singapore's MRT system and a fully air conditioned bus fleet.
SMRT was initally established for operations on Singapore's MRT system. However, in 2001, SMRT took over TransIsland Bus Services, a bus company in Singapore,
hence making SMRT Corporation a multi-operational transporation service provider. However, the name SMRT was kept, so as to show the dominance SMRT has in
the MRT sector of transportation.
